Today was a very productive day in the Bear Metal workshop. Sub-team B worked on creating a way to acquire the game piece while staying within the parameters of the wedge designed to go under the Portcullis obstacle. This included a spring collector system that used a policord tubing to roll the ball into the robot.Team E worked on coming up with a second more accurate proof of concept in order to advance prototyping. Team A made a “Tri-star drive train”, using 120 degree angles, which they have still yet to complete after 3 hours which in the words of David, it has been “eternally suspended.” Team “Rawr” worked on assembling a lift.
