What is the Bear Den?
Our practice field is open so all FRC teams can use our competition-grade practice field for their needs during competition and off-season. We offer help with technical, driving, programming, and overall team organization needs throughout the season!
Why have a public field?
Inviting other teams to use our practice field ensures fair competition, driving home Bear Metal’s emphasis on FIRST core values such as inclusion. By inviting teams to practice with us and by sharing insight into programming, driving, technical skills, and team organization, we ensure fair competition. To symbolize community within our field, we hang shirts from teams who have practiced with us. We want all teams to feel welcome and represented in our space.
