We have had almost 1,000 Summer Camp sign-ups in the last 3 years - Our summer camps are a great way to introduce all ages to STEAM!

In 2025, we held 9 Summer Camps across 5 weeks! Learn about them here:

Doughnut Hole - FTC Inspired Camps

Campers worked with a teen counselor in small teams (3 - 5 students) to build a robot that plays Doughnut Hole, competing their robots against one another on the final day of camp. Campers learn how to work in a team, solve problems, navigate designing and building a robot, see basic programming, compete in a supported environment, and have fun while learning and growing! Our FTC Inspired Camps are our most popular each year - in 2025 we hosted two sessions of this exciting camp.

Lego Explore Camp - FLL Explore Inspired Camp

Campers got an early start to discovering their passion for robotics through exploring with LEGO. Campers entering grades 1-3 used LEGOs to build creations that either told a story, represented research of a topic, or showed a solution to a problem. Students learned how to build mechanisms and solve problems through innovation - and how to have fun while doing it!

Design and Build Camp

In this popular camp, 4-8th grade campers used computer aided design (CAD) software to design, laser cut wood and assemble working models of medieval siege machines including a Ballista, Catapult, and Trebuchet. This camp combines an intro to CAD with hands-on work with the laser cutter and assembling the final machines. The last day, students tested their machines in a competition.

3D Printing & Design Camp

Intro to 3D Printing and Design had participants design models with Web based CAD (Computer Aided Design) and print their models. They made custom chains and prototyping rings using FDM 3D printers, PLA filament and Inventor design software. They learned how to maintain 3D printers as well as how to adjust printer settings for project success.

Intro to STEAM Camp

New this year, campers entering grades 3-5 got a basic introduction to a variety of STEAM principals - some that our high school team members use when building a competitive robot! Activities will include several science experiments, introduction to electronics, simple mechanics, and opportunities to create projects that showcase Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math!

Video Production Camp

Working in groups of 4 - 6 students, middle school campers learned the basics of video production as they scripted, directed, filmed, edited and starred in their own short films! They learned the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro video editor software. Campers were introduced to different genres of films and discuss different editing and content that is published in the video production industry.

Gamemaker’s Coding Camp

Campers entering grade 3-5 learned how to make games, specifically highlighting the programming elements that go into game development. Using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade, campers developed 3 games - a clicker game, a top-down RPG, and a detective-style puzzle game.

Photography Camp

Using professional grade cameras, campers entering grades 6-9 saw the world through a new lens! As they are introduced to different photography styles such as portrait, landscape and product photography, they learned photography skills including composition, exposure, and depth of field. Students took home their photos on an SD card as well as at least one printed photo.
