Week 2 Team Update

Bear Metal is continuing strong into week 2. The whole team is working as one to make progress on the robot and ensure the team is running smoothly. This past weekend, we hosted both Asimov and Capek FTC (First Tech Challenge) semi Finals here at our high school. We all took a small break from the rigorous build season antics, to help maintain, and support this competition. We also had several students volunteer and we could not have done it without them. 

Those who didn't volunteer for the competition were at our System’s Design Review (SDR). This is where we go over the main design for our robot for the season. Ideas were tossed around all day and they were able to refine the design to make it as performant and reliable as possible.

Taking the final robot design from our SDR, design got to work this week designing up the final models, and worked on getting  them off to fabricating. Fabrication in the meantime, has been working on fixing up and applying upgrades to our robot cart. Additionally, the Kitbot team has been working hard to finalize the kit bot and send it off to programing.
